National Youth Corps members who served in SAS were treated to a farewell lunch at the AUN Club to celebrate the conclusion of their 11-month service.

Dr. John Leonard, Associate Dean in the School, who hosted the send-forth, said the faculty really appreciates their contributions. He presented each of them with a token gift.

Each recalled memorable occasions during the service year and appreciated all the staff for their supportive roles.

From Mr. Oluwaseun Famuyiwa to Ms. Ekemaeka Isong and Ms. Erica Loveday (who served as lab technologists), it was a positive story of what national service had been at AUN. Isong said Dr. Leonard had proved to be a father, friend and confidant. Loveday and Famuyiwa also testified that everyone made them feel at home.
